It is low maintenance, but softer than most granite so it does require additional attention to ensure its beauty lasts. While a sealer is applied to your Fantasy Brown countertop prior to installation, there is still the potential for etching. Lemon juice, tomatoes, vinegar and other acidic solutions can etch the surface if left for extended periods of time. Salad dressings and marinades are also common culprits. It is important to be diligent in cleaning up spills of these and other liquids thoroughly as they happen.
