If repairs are deemed not able to be done and replacement is required, is the refund prorated based on year or is it a full refund? • The refund is on the price of the plan. So, if in 3 years there is a repair that is not fixable, then the customer gets the full refund on the price that they paid for protection plan. The plan does not cover replacement and will only give back the $499 paid for plan. Does cabinet warranty apply to all cabinet lines? • Yes. Do you use cabinet warranty first before using Granite Gold? • If we fix it first, the manufacturer will decline the claim. For unfinished lines, what happens when they paint those cabinets? • Barton’s says to stay away from unfinished lines to set the correct customer expectations. Craftmanship claims are not covered. What happens if a dog eats cabinet door? Is this covered? • Gauges, chips, and scratches are covered and are repaired. If unrepairable, then customer gets a refund of the plan. A dog eating the whole cabinet door will not be covered. What happens if a cabinet line gets discontinued? • Not a problem, no trouble matching cabinet lines and industry standards. Repairs are typically on parts – hinges, latches, pulls, etc. Do you have to buy a warranty for each cabinet line purchased? • 1 protection plan up to the dollar amount purchased (i.e., $50K cabinets) applies to overall cabinet purchase. Is warping doors covered? • No, that item is not covered for this repair warranty. The customer would need to purchase a new door from Barton’s. Is there a different “SO” # in Bistrack for the cabinet warranty and the countertop warranty? • The protection plans each have a SKU # associated with purchase: • Cabinets are 10 YR-20180, 5 YR-20179. • Countertops are 10 YR-20178, 5 YR-20177. • A separate PO is preferred for Sage. Does the Granite Gold warranty include accidental damage? • Yes. Does Granite Gold do site inspections? • Yes, when warranted. Does countertop warranty apply to all countertop material sold at Barton’s? • No, just Sage material/product. Are VRBO properties able to be covered under this warranty? • Yes, since it is same resident living there/owning house. Apartments are not covered.
