Is PO created through Sage or through Granite Gold? • PO is created through Sage. How does this work with manufacturer warranty? • If we fix it first, the manufacturer will decline the claim. Is warranty a total repair or just replace? • Countertop plan – repair only. • Cabinet plan – repair only on cabinets and small parts replacement (hinges, etc.) Does water damage fall under this protection? • Stains or damage caused by water leaks in home are not covered. • If damage is caused by a glass of water that spilled or something like that, then it is covered. Who sends customer information to Granite Gold for Cabinet and/or Countertop warranty purchase? • Sage Do you have to purchase countertops to be eligible for a Cabinet GG warranty? • No, Granite Gold will do Cabinet warranty only. Brochure says see a sales associate to review sample plan before purchase. Can we view plan before purchase? • The customer gets emailed and sent in standard mail their actual policy. Brochures mention that the brochure is not the actual policy, and customer will receive the policy after registration. Example of policy is in Resource Hub. GG 10-year Countertop and Cabinet Service Plan. When do the SKUS get invoiced? • The store can begin invoicing right away. Is there a site visit charge? • No, this is included in the service. How long has Granite Gold been around? • Over a decade. What is the difference between the Sage warranty we already have? • Sage warranty covers material/manufacturer defects and one year workmanship warranty from CFI. • Granite Gold covers repairs/misuse such as dropping a bowl and chipping the countertops. How many times can you use this warranty? • As many times as you need. If the cabinets/countertops are purchased by contractor but installed at customer’s home, is this considered transfer of warranty and not covered? • No this is not transfer of warranty as long as registration is under homeowner’s name and address. The contractor can buy the plan for the customer.
