SCHEDULING
Measure Date: • Your Project Coordinator (PC) will call you directly to set up a time for the Project Verification Specialist (PVS) to perform the necessary measurements. Cabinet Measurement: • The Customer (or their designated decision-maker over the age of (18) eighteen) MUST be present at the time of measure to answer any questions regarding layout. Final approval of the design is required after measurements have been submitted. Post Measurement: • Design approval is required from both the Certified Cabinet Installer (CCI) and the customer once the measurement is submitted to the retailer. • Appliance specs and any layout changes must be provided to the PVS or CCI. • Customers are responsible for relocating plumbing, electrical, or HVAC components before installation. • All post measurement adjustments must be paid for by the customer in full before installation of cabinets will begin. By paying for the project in full, you are agreeing to the scope of the cabinet installation project contracted in this agreement. Installation Date: • Once a design has been created and approved by the Customer and the CCI, a Sage Project Coordinator will call to schedule the start date for the installation services which will be based on the reasonable availability of materials. The PC will also confirm the completion date of your project. Depending on the scope of the installation services, your project could take longer than one day to complete. Time Window: • All field measure and installation dates will be scheduled by the PC directly with the Customer. A four-hour window for arrival will be provided. The job will be completed during normal business hours, Mon - Fri, 8 AM - 5 PM. Existing Walls: • Some existing walls may be bowed, curved or otherwise non-standard. If possible, this will be noted at time of measurement. • If walls are other than standard, the cabinets may not lie flush or even with the wall. Any wall adjustments and repairs necessary for these instances are the sole responsibility of the Customer. Removal of Existing Cabinets, Countertops & Backsplashes: • If the Customer selects the CCI-provided tearout service, the Customer must: • remove all items from inside the cabinets and on top of the countertops, as well as • disconnect all plumbing and electrical unless otherwise purchased through the retailer for the CCI to complete during installation. • If the customer has OPTED OUT of the CCI-provided tearout service, all tearout must be completed before the CCI arrives on the installation start date and the project area must be completely ready to begin installation. • Customer understands that scrapes, punctures and/or digs to wall surfaces may occur despite CCI exercising reasonable care during the removal process. These items are considered incidental damage and are the customer’s responsibility to repair. • Customer is responsible for ensuring final wall preparations including, but not limited to, painting, backsplashes, wall papering, are completed after the cabinets have been installed as incidental damage may occur.
